Kulturnatt Stockholm/Culture Night Stockholm is an event arranged by The City of Stockholm in April each year. This year 132 different acts participated in the event, both live and with recorded material - making it one of the biggest live-streams in Sweden. I was hired as a freelance motion designer and marketing assistant on a two month contract to create content for the event's marketing channels—website, billboards, digital screens, and social media. My responsibilities included everything from video editing, animation, motion graphics, and graphic design.
Social media
The animated advert was featured on the Swedish television program Kulturveckan on SVT (Swedish public service television), where the host interviewed stakeholders and talked about the different acts. The ad was also featured on digital screens across central Stockholm, and on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Google ads).
Live-stream material
During the live-stream it was important to keep introducing the acts and the host in order to keep new viewers informed.
We also prompted viewers to visit the web-player for subtitled videos of the different acts. These lower thirds were animated in After Effects.
