A 3s looping cel-animation that I made in Adobe Photoshop. I started this animation with the idea to somehow portray the word "Growth", and came up with the idea to make it about the growth of civilization. As it was all about how to visualize expansion I worked a lot with squash and stretch, as well as morphing. My process included sketches, storyboards, a rough animation with only outlines, to then be polished and filled with color and texture.
